Frame is broken 2.5 years after purchase

We are a GE family, all of our kitchen and laundry appliances are GE, so when it was time for new microwave and trim we naturally went backto GE. We purchased the trim kit in 2022 and today discovered the bottom plastic where the screw is has broken apart abd now the whole kit needs to be replaced. It seems this is manufacturing defect given all the similar reviews. Very disappointing.

this trim kit breaks. i should not have to replace due to poor plastic design. there is also no adjustability in angle of screw which means one cannot adapt to conditions of cabinet cut out. do better ge.

This trim frame does not fit my GE MWO. The specifications that are not printed on this page do not help at all? Why can't GE list their dimensions so that someone can byt the right product the first time? It is very foolish to have to buy things without knowing they will fit?

I have experienced the same issue as other reviewers. I am on my second trim kit in just 2 years. I called and was told there isn™™t another comparable trim kit with better quality, so I am stuck purchasing yet another one that will probably break again.

Warner Stellian sold us this trim kit and microwave and although they had all dimensions it was too short. Now I am stuck with a trim kit because they won't return.

This product is extremely poor quality. It cracked with just over one month of routine usage. Despite having a 1 year parts and labor manufacturer warranty, GE has not stood behind this product. I have made three phone calls and been told each time that GE is not responsible for the manufacturer warranty of this GE-branded and manufactured product because it was purchased via another retailer. This leaves me, the consumer, completely stuck between a rock and hard place as that retailer (rightfully) points me back to GE for support on the manufacturer's warranty.

Breaks with Normal Usage

Just like the other reviewer, found this trim kit breaks with regular usage. In the last 3-6 months I noticed the top of this trim kit had cracked on each side. Today when opening the microwave door the top of the kit came completely loose as well as the bottom, left hand side. Really disappointed as it's less than 2 years old and when it broke it damaged my cabinets so not only will I have to replace the kit, I will also have to pay for the cabinet repair. I have contacted GE and hope they will remedy this as there seems to be an issue with this product.
